Music Therapist

Mallory McDonald, LPMT, MT-BC

Mallory grew up in Georgia and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College & State University in 2023 after completing a six-month internship in a pediatric music therapy setting. Her passion for music therapy began when her sister received music therapy services. Watching the positive impact music had on her sister's growth inspired Mallory to pursue a career where she could help others experience those same meaningful moments. She loves seeing how music can motivate, encourage, and grow individuals as they work toward their individualized goals. Mallory has had the opportunity to work with children, adults, older adults, and individuals in mental health settings. She enjoys getting to know each client and sharing her passion for music therapy with everyone! While voice is her primary instrument, Mallory also enjoys playing the guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, and flute. Outside of music therapy, you'll likely find her hiking, having a coffee, or reading a good book!
